History of Coffee

USD 70 | I was honored to be chosen to paint the large main display for the annual Swiss Coffee Festival in Lausanne, 21-22 September 2022. The African-South American lady with a coffee bean wrapped on her head is centered to allow her long dress to represent the many fields of coffee, with coffee discovery in Ethiopia at its origin on the left, when a shepherd noticed goats getting excited from chewing on the fresh coffee buds only to be taken over by monks who learned to roast the coffee. See the various symbols and tools across the painting, with "coffee in gold" written in several languages from coffee-producing countries.
